Happy homemade holidays! I grew up with homemade gifts at the holidays. My mother sewed and always had handcrafts for my sister and I to do. It is something that I have always loved sharing. I now live surrounded by handcraft artisans. It is quite fun to say that I am a wreath maker of twenty years. I had no idea it would last this long but every year it continues. I have been able to include my friends and my kids in a creative side business and I believe it started when I was young.
For the season, I make holiday wreaths for markets in my area. I love to inspire little hands too. So here are three handmade ornaments for little hands to make.
Make your own ornaments , three simple ornaments using nature.
· Wrap twine on a circle of rosemary
· String some cranberries on a wire, then twist wire and tie a bow and some twigs.
· Roll out or press a ball of ‘air dry’ clay then roll the edges. Next press cedar or twigs on clay then remove. Poke a hole with a pen, thread your twine and make a loop, Tie a bow with some greenery.
Have a happy homemade Christmas from
